The application process for the recruitment exam of KPSC Jr Assistant / Second Division Assistant posts has been extended by the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC).

The applications for the above-mentioned posts are still available on the official website i.e. kpsc.kar.nic.in.
The KPSC has extended the application process till June 1, 2020, due to COVID-19 Lockdown extension. 

Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) invited the applications for 1279 Jr Assistant / Second Division Assistant posts. The candidates who wish to appear for the exam can visit the official website and apply for the same.
The candidates who are 12, Diploma & ITI pass can apply. The exam fee can be paid till June 2, 2020. 
 
KPSC Junior Assistant Eligibility Criteria: Class 12th and Diploma with ITI pass candidates can apply            
Age Limit: 18 to 35 years
 
Application Fee: 
Application Fee for General Candidates:  Rs 635/-  
Application Fee for OBC (2A/2B/3A & 3B): Rs 335/-
Application Fee for Ex-Servicemen: Rs 85/-
Application Fee for SC/ ST/ Cat-1/ PH: No Fee
 
Starting Date for Submission of Online Application: March 09, 2020
Last Date for Submission of Online Application: April 30, 2020
Last Date for Submission of Application fee: May 02, 2020

Selection Process: The candidates will be selected on the basis of the Written Exam/ Interview.
 
Exam Pattern 
 
The competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Junior Assistant/ Second Division Assistants will consist of Paper-2  and Paper-3 which will further consist of 2 exams:

The examination will consist of two written papers, namely,-
Paper-2: General English or General Kannada
Paper-3: General Knowledge

The papers will be of 100 marks. The questions will be “Objective Multiple Choice Type”. The duration of each exam will be 1.5 hours.

The candidates may select either the paper on General English or the paper on General Kannada.
